1913-D penny — varies from $3 to $10 for a typical well-circulated example, to $150+ for average uncirculated The 1930 penny is one of the rarest Australian coins, due to a very small number being minted [dead link] and holds the record as the most valuable copper penny in the world. It is highly sought after by coin collectors, and a 1930 penny in very fine condition can be worth A$45,000 or more.. Other "hard to get" years include 1925 and 1946, although they are not as valuable as the 1930 penny. Compositionally, the 1919 wheat penny is 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc, a composition common to all wheat pennies, save those produced during America’s involvement in World War II, an era that saw various experimentations in material in efforts to conserve copper.

Each of these coins have a diameter of 19mm. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins. While the average value of a 1943 steel penny is 45 cents, they can be worth as much as $10, according to Coin Tracker. The condition of the steel penny, if uncirculated, is what can make it worth more money to collectors. Founding father Benjamin Franklin once said, "A penny saved is a penny earned." If you were able to save a million pennies, how much money would you have?
